Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik received today, Wednesday, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Republic of Yemen Mohammed Azabi.
The session aimed to discuss several topical issues including the latest developments in the Yemeni national scene, the ongoing efforts to establish peace in Yemen, challenges facing the government and the required regional and international support to sustain the government's efforts to manage the economic challenges and improve basic services.
The Houthi militias' ongoing economic war including the militias' attacks on oil seaports were also elaborately discussed.
Dr. Ma'een highly praised the UAE's key role in supporting the Yemeni government and people in different fields.
The Emirati Ambassador reiterated the UAE's full support for the internationally recognized Yemeni government's effort to manage the challenges it has been facing and improve the basic services.
He also confirmed the UAE's support for the regional and international efforts to make peace in Yemen.
