Taiz governor discusses with WFP interventions in Western Coast districts

Governor of Taiz Nabeel Shamsan discussed Thursday with directors of the World Food Program in Makha and Aden interventions of the program in districts of the Western Coast, Mawza, Makha and Thubab since 2018 and the program's decision doing interventions through local partners.

The meeting touched upon transferring into livelihood projects in accordance with a studied transitional plan, results of the survey is being implemented currently by the program and considering priority of rehabilitating some roads in countryside.

Governor Shamsan confirmed keenness of the local authority on facilitating the program's tasks and its humanitarian interventions and alleviating any difficulties, praising WFP's interventions as one of the biggest organizations providing food to the people under the war.
