In its meeting today in Cairo, headed by Adel Al-Asumi, the Arab Parliament affirmed its full support for Yemen and its institutions under the umbrella of the Presidential Leadership Council, and its support for all its efforts and negotiations aimed at bringing peace, ending the coup and restoring constitutional legitimacy.
The Council condemned the Houthi militia's refusal to extend the truce and called on the international community to take measures to ensure that these terrorist militias comply with the international will and give priority to the interests of the Yemeni people.
The statement also condemned the numerous violations committed by the Houthi militia, its constant threat to the security of international navigation in the Red Sea region, and its continuous violations of the armistice.
