Today, in Shanghai, the activities of the third session of the China-Arab Forum for Reform and Development began, with the participation of Yemen's Ambassador to China, Dr. Muhammad Al-Maitami.

In his speech at the forum, Dr. Al-Maitami praised the strong and solid historical friendship relations that bind Yemen with the friendly People's Republic of China and its people, pointing out that the initiative launched by Chinese President Xi Jinping under the title of the Global Development Initiative aims to advance sustainable development programs approved by the world in 2015, which represents a major option for Arab countries at this historical stage.
