Leaders of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq and the United States have welcomed UN Truce in Yemen and formation of the Presidential Leadership Council.
In the final communique of Jeddah Summit for Security and Development held here on Saturday, the leaders expressed hope of reaching a political solution to Yemen's crisis in accordance with the three agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the Outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and Security Council's Resolution 2216.
The leaders called all parties in Yemen to seize the opportunity and swiftly commence direct negotiations under the patronage of the United Nations, confirming significance of continuous support to humanitarian and relief needs and economic and developmental support to Yemeni people.
