The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

Prime Minister Maeen AbdulMalik praised the successive victories achieved by the brigades of the army and the popular resistance, with the support and backing of the coalition to support legitimacy led by Saudi Arabia on the fronts of Hajjah governorate and the approaching liberation of the entire city of Haradh, as part of the Happy Freedom of Yemen operations, aimed at completing the restoration of the state and ending the Iranian-backed Houthi coup.

The Prime Minister, during a phone call he had this evening with the Governor of Hajjah Abdul Karim Al-Sunini, was briefed on the progress of the military operations and the victories achieved by the army’s heroes with the support of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, and the liberation of large areas and the encirclement of the city of Haradh and the liberation of large parts of it.
