Arab Coalition announces targeting site for assembling booby-trapped boats in Hodeidah

The Joint Forces Command of the Arab Coalition announced today the implementation of an operation targeting a site for assembling and booby-trapped boats in the coastal defense camp of Al-Jabbana, Hodeidah Governorate.

The coalition leadership said in a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), "4 booby-trapped boats were destroyed in the coastal camp of Al-Jabbana in Hodeidah," noting that the military operation came after careful monitoring and intelligence reconnaissance to neutralize and destroy the sources of the maritime threat in the Bab al-Mandab strait and the southern Red Sea.

The statement added, "The military efforts contributed to the protection of maritime shipping lines and global trade, as a total of 91 booby-trapped and remotely piloted boats - posing a direct threat to maritime security in the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the southern Red Sea - were discovered and destroyed."
