'MASAM' removes 1351 Houthi-laid landmines in a week

KSrelief Center Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" managed to demine 1,351 landmines in the 3rd week of September 2021.

These landmines planted by Iran-backed Houthi militiamen in different Yemeni regions.

KSrelief Center reported that MASAM pulled out 13 anti-personnel and 432 anti-tanks landmines, 905 unexploded ordnances and one explosive devices.

This brings total number of landmines demined by MASAM since it has started its mission up to 275 thousand and 305, all laid down randomly by Houthi militia militants.
