ADEN - SABA
Yemen's political parties have renewed their demands for an international "designation of Houthis as a terrorist organization" blaming the international community's tolerance with the theocratic militants as an "encouragement to them (the Houthis) to press ahead with their appalling crimes against civilians."
The National Coalition of Parties, an umbrella for all Yemen's parties, made the remarks in a statement to condemn Saturday's attack in which a Houthi ballistic missile and drone killed at least 17 civilians and injured others in Marib city to the east of the country.
"Considering this crime and the previous appalling crimes, it has become binding for the international community to designate this group as a terrorist organization," the parties said.
