The meeting focused on discussing the latest developments in WFP's activities in Yemen, particularly in light of the increasing challenges posed by funding gaps and the ongoing escalation by Houthi militia.
Dr. Zindani emphasized the Yemeni government's commitment to enhancing cooperation with WFP, praising the organization's humanitarian role in alleviating the suffering of the people.
He reaffirmed the government's commitment to providing all possible facilitation to ensure the smooth and transparent delivery of humanitarian assistance to all regions in the country.
