Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak held talks with Arab League Secretary General Dr. Ahmed Abu al-Ghait.
The discussions focused on the developments in the Yemeni national landscape, peace efforts and Iranian interventions in Yemen's internal affairs.
Bin Mubarak detailed Abu al-Ghait on the situations in Yemen including the UN and International good offices aim to make peace in Yemen, Houthi militia's continuous endeavors to hinder peace efforts through its military escalations and operations on Marib governorate.
Bin Mubarak blamed Iranian regime for prolonging the conflict in Yemen through its flagrant interventions in the Yemeni internal affairs." The Iranian interventions have become a formidable obstruction to peace as Iran has turned the Yemeni conflict into a negotiating card that Iranian regime capitalizes on to serve its nuclear negotiations", said bin Mubarak.
Abu al-Ghait reiterated Arab League's supportive stance in support of the Yemeni legitimate government, Yemen's security, stability, unity and territorials integrity.
