Minister of Oil, French Ambassador discuss partnership in oil, gas businesses

RIYADH - SABA
Minister of Oil and Minerals Abdulsalam Ba-Abood met Sunday here with the French Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Jean-Marie SAFA.

They conferred over the importance of reinvigorating the cooperation and partnership in oil and gas sector.

Ba-Abood highlighted the economic challenges facing the Yemeni government presently, underscoring the need for the international community's support for the government's efforts aiming to manage the economic hardships.

The Minister made it clear that the government has to improve the economic stability by increasing revenues from oil and gas sectors.

The French Ambassador hailed the formation of the Yemeni government, affirming his country's support for this government to help it doing its job successfully.

Mr. SAFA stated that his government will keep on coordinating with the government's authorities in charge, namely Minister of Oil to activate the partnership and coordination between the two sides.
