YWEF Documents 4,651 Houthi Violations Against Mosques and Religious Minorities
The Yemeni Women Empowerment Foundation (YWEF) has documented 4,651 crimes and violations committed by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia against mosques, religious figures and minorities across 14 provinces between January 2014 and August 21, 2026.

Houthi militia shares Al-Qaeda, Daesh approach of bombing opponents' buildings

Minister of Information in the caretaker government Muamer al-Iryani condemned Houthi militia's crimes against the populations in the militia held regions including bombing opponents.

"Houthi militiamen demolished three houses in Azoba village of al-Qorarishi district, Albaidha governorate last Thursday. It is al-Qaeda's and Daesh's approach against the people who resist the terrorist organizations", said al-Iryani.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) the minister added" Since the early days of its emergence Houthi militia has adopt the houses bombing approach to terrify the population under its control. It is the same policy of al-Qaeda and Daesh".

Al-Iryani blamed the UN's envoy to Yemen for turning blind eye over Houthi militia gruesome crimes and violations against the civilians.
