Govt welcomes Saudi plan to accelerate Riyadh Agreement implementation

The Yemeni government welcomed a Saudi announced plan to accelerate the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement between the government and the Southern Transitional Council.

The government's spokesman, Rajeh Badi, assured Saba that the government is keen on the full implementation of the agreement . Badi appreciated the Saudi efforts to implement the agreement which will hopefully bring about security and stability and maintain the unity of Yemen allowing the war-torn country to pursue development.

Rajih Badi welcomed STC's retreat of "self-rule" declaration and announced commitment to the Riyadh Agreement, expressing his hope that this will be a serious and real beginning to move forward and quickly in implementing the terms of the agreement.
