Water project to displaced people's camp in Marib launched

Deputy Governor of Marib Abd-Rabbo Miftah launched Sunday the first phase of water project to displaced people's camp in Jufaina, southern Marib city, which contains more than 5 thousand families from different provinces.
During launching ceremony, Miftah was briefed by Executive Director of Estijaba Corporation for Development and Humanitarian Activities Tariq al-Kaman on the project's components.
The project's cost is YR 25 million financed by Kuwaiti Red Crescent and targets 2000 displaced families in the camp.
Miftah confirmed significance of the project for alleviating suffering of displaced families in the camp, which needs more humanitarian interventions for providing drinking water to all displace families.
He directed formation of social committee to manage the project and protect it, stressing significance of finalizing other steps of the project.
