The Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms reported that the Iranian-backed Houthi Terrorist Militias-laid landmines killed 1104 and injured 1429 civilians during the time from January 2017 to March 2026. For material damages, 2414 incidents were reported due to the anti-personnel and anti-armor landmines planted randomly by the militiamen.

Yemeni Ambassador to Germany Louay al-Eryani has held discussions with the Director-General of the Middle East and North Africa at the German Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Tobias Tunkel, over developments in Yemen and the continued Houthi threat to security in Yemen.

Ambassador Al-Eryani stressed that Yemen relies on the efforts of friendly countries like Germany to support the Yemeni government's efforts to end this threat and restore stability.

For his part, the German official affirmed his country's support for the Yemeni government and Germany's awareness of the difficulties facing Yemen. He reiterated Germany's continued development and political support for the Yemeni government to achieve peace.
