Saudi Arabia's Al-Taawoun qualified for the AFC Champions League semi-finals after defeating Iran's Tractor S. 4-2 on penalties, after both teams finished 2-2 after regulation and extra time.
In the second leg of the quarter-finals at Al-Taawoun Stadium in Buraidah, Tractor S. 1-0 Ricardo Alves scored the first goal from a penalty kick in the 50th minute. Musa Barrow equalized for Al-Taawoun in the 54th minute.
In extra time, Sultan Mandesh scored Al-Taawoun's second goal in the 92nd minute, and Domaj Drozic equalized in the 105th minute.
