Yemen's Deputy Foreign Minister, Mustafa Noman, met with Head of Political Affairs Department at the Office of the UN Envoy to Yemen, Roxana Yelena Bazargan, in Aden today.
The meeting focused on regional and international developments affecting Yemen's political settlement, as well as the US decision to designate the Houthi militias as an FTO.
Noman reaffirmed the Yemeni government's commitment to protecting its citizens from the negative repercussions of the US decision, which was prompted by the Houthi militias' actions. He also reiterated the government's dedication to restoring the state and consolidating its authority across the country.
The Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized that the Houthi militias are the main obstacle to peace, forcing citizens to fight futile battles that have devastated the country.
