Al-Subaihi, PM Receive Condolences in Aden on the Passing of Former President Abd-Rabu Mansour Hadi
Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Lieutenant General Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaya Zindani received condolences this Friday evening in the temporary capital, Aden, on the passing of the late former President, Field Marshal and veteran leader Abd-Rabu Mansour Hadi, who passed away after a life filled with national, political and military service during pivotal moments in Yemen’s modern history.

Prime Minister: Yemen and Egypt have united vision on Arab security threats

Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik has confirmed that Yemen and Egypt have united vision on the nature of dangers threatening the region and Arab national security in general.

Yemeni and Egyptian security is linked together, added prime minister.

In a joint press conference with his Egyptian counterpart Mustafa Madbouli after the state talks between the two parties on Sunday, Abdulmalik made it clear that Yemeni-Egyptian relations date back to old history and have special position in Arab-Arab relations and that Egypt is always remembered in Yemen by all Yemeni people.

He thanked President Abdelfattah al-Sisi of Egypt and the Egyptian government for their support to Yemen and for facilitations provided to Yemeni citizens in Egypt.

" Realizing the Yemeni modern state is not Yemeni accomplishment only but also an Egyptian one after the two revolutions 1962, 1963 in the north and south of Yemen," said prime minister.

And now, in the recovery period, we depend on brothers in Egypt for supporting us with expertise, knowledge and technical support needed for reconstructing modern states in Yemen, he said.

He further said that they held today, Sunday, expanded talk session, which is historical and significant chance and ministers of the two countries held also expanded meetings and exchanged viewpoints in different domains.

" I talked and we discussed with the prime minister in these expanded talks on ties between the national Yemeni and Egyptian security on the nature of the dangers threatening all of us and challenges facing Yemen currently," he said.
" We talked about peace file in general and on Riyadh Agreement, which we have many hopes for realizing political stability allowing for recovery phase to Yemeni state."

He pointed out to what have been discussed in the talk session; Iranian blatant interferences in Yemen and its attempt to extend influence to Bab al-Mandab and the Red Sea, technical support in economy and electricity fields and topics of residents in Egypt.

For his part, the Egyptian prime minister confirmed deep-rooted Egyptian-Yemeni relations in all fields linking the two countries and full support to the president and the government of Yemen, making it clear that the national security of Yemen is a national security to all Arab countries and to Egypt and that the stability of Yemen is the stability to all region.

He also confirmed that Egypt rejects all non-Arab interferences in Yemen's internal affairs, praising Saudi great efforts for regaining the stability in Yemen in all fields.

Madbouli pointed out that Egypt is keen on providing different logistic support to Yemen in addition to hosting more than million Yemeni citizens in Egypt and enjoy all rights granted to their Egyptian brothers.

He also pointed out to significance of the visit of Yemen's prime minister to Egypt, especially after Yemen demanded help of Egypt in efforts of reconstruction of the state of Yemen, making it clear that Egyptian companies will have major roles during recovery period in Yemen.
