The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Al-Khanbashi, ICRC discuss interventions in government-held regions

Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Salim al-Khanbashi met Wednesday in the interim capital Aden with the Head of International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) mission in Yemen Franscio Astam.
They discussed the ICRC's projects and interventions in Aden and other government-held governorates as well as in the armed conflict regions.
The ICRC official stated that the mission is seeking to establish a hosptial in the governorate of Al-Dhale'a in order to offer medical services for the wounded people who sustain injuries in battlefields in different fronts.
Dr. Al-Khanbashi highly praised the significant role of the ICRC in different spheres, specially in prisoner-exchange case.
