PM: Govt very keen to improve Yemeni universities' situations

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik has stated that the government is very interested in developing the situations of the Yemeni universities and improve the quality of higher education.
He said " The government is keen to improve the situations of the Yemeni universities and develop the standards of higher education and its output. To this end, all efforts need to be joined to get rid of the implications the war triggered by Houthi rebel militia".
His remarks came as he met on Thursday with the rectors of the public and private-owned Yemeni universities who contributed to the consultative meeting held in the temporary capital Aden. The gathering aimed to discuss how to improve the quality of higher education.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of focusing on the quality of higher education and accredited academic standards of its outputs in order to serve the developments needs and objectives.
