Minister of Fishery Fahd Kafein assured businessmen and companies operate in fishery that the government is very interested in improving fishery industry and business.

" The Ministry has been planning to upgrade fishery factories to bring Yemeni fishery production and industry up to standards to be competitive in world markets", said Kafein.

His remark came during a meeting convened Sunday in the city of Mukalla included managers of the companies and factories involved in fishery businesses.

The session aimed to discuss challenges facing fishery industry and explore possible solutions and action plans to promote investments and enterprises in fishery sector.
