Representation of South not exclusive to one faction, says Hadi
[04/11/2019 01:52]
RIYADH-SABA

President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi said the right to "represent south Yemen is not exclusive to one single faction", a day ahead of the expected bilateral signature on a partnership deal between the government and the Southern Transitional Council.

Hadi made the remarks during a meeting with several other movements championing the South Yemen cause to assure them that their voices will be heard and grievances resolved under the umbrella of a united Yemen.

"There are also voices who have not yet had a say and there are (other) independent voices. It is unfair of those who claim to (exclusively) represent the south to deny them their rights or to speak on their behalf," Hadi continued, "given that the South Cause is crucial and addressing it within a federal Yemen is the guarantee of ending conflicts and building a just and stable federal Yemen."
