A delegation from the UNICEF is on a visit now to the province of Marib aimed to assess the projects and activities funded by the UN Organization for Motherhood and Childhood in the province.
The delegation led by Walead No'aman met Sunday with Deputy Governor of Marib Abdullah Al-Bakiri.
No'aman stated that the UNICEF has funded activities in five sectors (health, nutrition, water, sanitation, education, child protection programs and financial assistance program).
The UNICEF funded projects in the province with total amount $3.5 million from January through November, according to No'aman.
" $2 million of out which devoted to fund the emergency financial assistance project to support the people in need whose names enlisted in the registers of social insurance. The amount was paid in two payments", said No'aman.
