The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Governor of Socotra reports to President Hadi about damages caused by the tempest

President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi conducted a phone call to the governor of Socotra Archipelagos province Ramzi Mahroos.
In his call, the President wanted to know the consequences of the cyclone which hit the Island and caused some material damages and left dozens of the population trapped.
The governor detailed the President on the damages the tempest produced. He stated that some 32 families are reported to have been evacuated from their houses that have been overwhelmed by floods and two peoples are still missed.
The President promised to do his best to provide the necessary help in coordination brethren, friends and international organizations.
