EU Signs Agreement Worth 10 Million Euro to Boost Climate-Resilient Agricultural Food Systems in Yemen
The European Union (EU), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Yemen have announced the signing of a 10 million euro (11.4 million USD) agreement to strengthen climate-resilient agricultural food systems, create jobs, build more sustainable livelihoods and boost economic recovery in Yemen.

A Yemeni resident was killed and a Saudi woman and a Pakistani resident were injured after shrapnel fell in Taif following the interception of a Houthi drone, Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense spokesperson said today.
The spokesperson said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that Taif Civil Defense responded to falling shrapnel from a drone after it was intercepted and destroyed. The drone had been launched by the Houthi militia.
The incident resulted in the death of a Yemeni national residing in Saudi Arabia and injuries to a Saudi woman and a Pakistani resident, whose condition was critical, the spokesperson said.
The interception also caused material damage to a number of buildings and vehicles.
