President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi has valued efforts of the new UN Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffith for realizing peace, security and stability in Yemen on the bases of the three basic foundations for peace in Yemen.
These foundations include GCC Initiative, the Outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Security Council's Resolution 2216.
In his meeting with the UN Envoy on Wednesday, President Hadi confirmed support of the government to his efforts and goodwill for peace, praising his first briefing to the Security Council on Yemen.
President Hadi renewed his permanent position for peace as a strategic choice for regaining security and stability in Yemen and in the region, stressing on peace that is based on the three basic foundations.
For his part, Griffith expressed pleasure for the meeting, which comes in the framework of discussions and support for boosting peace chances in accordance with the agreed upon peace foundations.
He praised efforts of the president and his courage under Yemen's current crisis.
