Yemen participated in the Barcelona International Marine Industries and Products Expo, held in Barcelona, Spain, with a delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Salem Al-Wali.
Al-Wali said, "Yemen's participation in this important international exhibition comes within the framework of efforts to enhance and support the presence of Yemeni products in international markets and attract and encourage investments in Yemen's marine industries sector.
We believe that Yemen possesses significant potential and wealth in this field, and we are determined to exploit it to achieve sustainable development."
He added in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), "The ministry is working, in accordance with the directives of the political leadership and the Prime Minister, to support and encourage exports and create an attractive investment environment for major projects, through which we can create job opportunities and develop the country's resources."
