Governor of Lahj Ahmad Turky discussed with the Office of Forcibly Disappeared People Affairs issues of the sons of the province in Houthi militia's detentions.
Governor Turky highlighted efforts of the office towards detainees, especially from Lahj, who are ideal examples on sacrifices for the homeland in different warfronts; some martyred, others injured and some others are in Houthi detentions.
He renewed support of the local authority to the office for easing challenges it faces.
The Office's Director General Abdullah al-Nakhibi reviewed efforts of the office in following up prisoner issues in international humanitarian organizations.
He made it clear that there are 42 forcibly displaced people in Houthi militia's cells, 19 of them are from Lahj.
