Foreign Minister and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al-Zouba discussed today with Acting UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen Laurent Bukera the latest developments and the repercussions of the recent escalation by the Iran-backed Houthi militia, as well as ways to strengthen cooperation between the Yemeni government and the United Nations to address humanitarian and development needs.

The Minister of State, Governor of Aden Abdurrahman Sheikh voiced gratitude to the State of Kuwait for its generous and continuous support for water sector and basic services in Aden.

" We deeply appreciate the constant and significant support of the State of Kuwait for water and basic services, provided through the Kuwaiti Direct Aid Association ", he said.

His remark came during his discussions today, Tuesday, with representatives of the Kuwaiti Direct Aid Association.
The conversations focused on the final arrangements to complete a project to drill 10 water wells in order to improve water services in Aden.
