Minister of Human Rights Mohammad Askar discussed on Wednesday with Portuguese Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Teresa Ribeiro issues of internally displaced people and refugees in Yemen.
The two parties also discussed cooperation between the two countries and humanitarian issues in Yemen.
Askar reviewed the situation of human rights in Yemen over Houthi militia coup and their continuous crimes and major violations of international humanitarian law, dragging children to warfronts, laying mines and kidnapping journalists and political activists.
For her part, the Portuguese official confirmed support to legal governmentunder President Hadi, noting to significance of regular meetings on serving the interests of the two countries.
