Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Tian Qi has said his country will continue efforts for having just political solution to Yemeni issue and for alleviating humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
"During the past three years, Yemeni-Chinese friendship and deep relations have been boosted and Yemeni people have experienced the most difficult stage in Yemen's history," Qi told Saba upon departure.
He added that China has great efforts for reaching a political solutionto Yemeni issue and alleviating humanitarian crisis, noting that his country has been supporting the political transfer and economic recovery and has maintained its fixed position supporting efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen and will continue efforts of negotiations and reconciliation.
China- as permanent member in the Security Council- plays responsible role for keeping peace and stability in the region and in the whole world, and has participated in peace talks in Biel, Geneva and Kuwait talks, he said.
He confirmed that China will maintain just position for having just solution in Yemen.
He pointed out that Yemen and China have overcome challenges over wars and boosted friendship relations and carried out fruitful cooperation in different fields, noting that China has provided humanitarian assistances to alleviate effect of the severe crisis and will continue providing aid to all Yemeni people.
Ambassador Qi hoped restoration of peace and stability in Yemen and commencing economic development.
