The International Islamic News Agency`s (IINA) General Assembly has adopted www.sabanew.net, the website of Yemen's state-run news agency 'Saba' as its reference source for news on Yemen.
In its 5th session held in the headquarters of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday, the Assembly agreed to transform IINA into a union of OIC member news agencies, an enforcement of a previous decision by the OIC member ministers of information.
IINA is one of the effective information media of the OIC, said the OIC Secretary General Dr. Yusuf al-Otheimeen during the session.
