The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

PM lays foundation stone for service projects in al-Mahrah

Prime Minister Ahmed bin-Daghr laid the foundation stones for a number of projects in the southeastern province of al-Mahrah on Wednesday.
He laid the foundation stone for the following projects; a rehab of the internal streets of the provincial capital, al-Gheidha, at an approximate cost of YR 915 million; construction of a new 340 km long road linking al-Gheidha to Tareem district of Hadhramout at an approximate cost of USD 50 million; a 22 km water pipe from Foori area to al-Gheidha at an approx. cost of YR 300 million.
