Governor condemns militias' breaking into ministers' houses
[07/09/2017 02:56]
ADEN-SABA

A cabinet source has condemned the Saleh-Houthi militias' breaking into the houses of the ministers of information and interior in the capital Sana'a on Wednesday.

The rebel militias took the guards to unknown places and looted the contents of the houses.

"This act reflects the mentality and modus operandi of loose criminal gangs," the Cabinet source told Saba.

"Desecrating the inviolability of houses in this barbaric and repeated manner, dealing harshly with all oppositionists are but a signal that the militias have edged closer to collapse," said the source.

"The major victory is coming thanks to the streak of defeats the militia is receiving at the hands of the army."

The source called on the UN, the international community and human rights organizations "to condemn the behaviors of the putschists and the threat they pose to the people living within their areas of control."

Earlier the militias stormed the houses of senior other state officials including the presidential advisor Rashad al-Alimi and ministers of Foreign Affairs and Civil Service.

The militias have for long been detonating houses of oppositionists to their sectarian agenda.
