The Minister of Social AffairsIbtihaj al-Kamal has discussed with juvenile delinquents care workers in Aden issues related to the rehabilitation of their war-damaged premises and re-activating the Law on Juveniles.
The minister met on Monday with the director generals of different juvenile care facilities in the temporary capital city.
The minister asked the directors to bring forward proposals to re-operate their facilities with a view to resuming the protection service to juveniles.
Al-Kamal called on the care officials to make maximum use of the international organization's support to them and to follow up their allocated budget with the government to be able to resume their duties.
Aden is witnessing the comeback of many government departments to function again after a long closure as a result of the Saleh-Houthi rebel militias' war on Yemen.
