Human Rights Ministry denounces coup militias' attack on Mokha port
[29/07/2017 07:47]

ADEN-SABA
The Ministry of Human Rights has condemned the Saleh-Houthi rebel militias' attack on Mokha seaport by a remotely controlled boat bomb.

In a statement the ministry renewed its call on the international community to make a serious pressure and take an action to implement the UN resolutions especially resolution 2216 to halt the savage crimes of the militias.

"These insane criminal attacks against service facilities such as the Mokha seaport have nothing to aim at achieving except the incurrence of damage, havoc and death everywhere," said the statement.

"By this criminal act, the coup militias sought to halt the ongoing works to improve the seaports' capacity in receiving humanitarian aid and delivering it to Taiz and large parts of Hodeidah. Indifferent to the lives of the citizens whom the militias bother not kill between two choices; by using them as human shields or hindering their supply lifeline to face death by starvation or diseases.
