ADEN-SABA
Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid bin-Daghr said the celebrations of the 2nd anniversary of Aden liberation against the Saleh-Houthi militia immortalize the brave role of the Arab coalition as well as the local army and popular resistance.
In a press statement on the occasion, the premier saluted the army, resistence and the Arab coalition countries led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE for retaking Aden from the control of the Saleh-Houthi coup militias and for riding the city from these militias' sectarian Persian-inspired agenda."
Aden's liberation, he said, was not an extraordinary event, but the start of the journey to recover the hijacked Yemeni state.
The government is now working hard with Arab coalition countries' support to realize (economic) recovery, launch the reconstruction process and redress the devastation left by the coup militia's war, said bin-Daghr.
He affirmed that the government is carrying on with efforts to bring the security situations in the liberated parts of the country back to normal, clamp down on terror acts and address a lot of irregularities and accumulated issues; the integration of the popular resistance into the army, provision of care to the fallen soldiers' families, improvement of power and water supply.
He promised the people that the army will advance in Nehm, Taiz and other fighting zones to restore the rest of the militia-controlled areas, including Sana'a, back to the control of the a federal state.
