Berlin Protest Calls for Lifting Taiz Siege, Designating Houthis as Terrorists
Members of the Yemeni community in Berlin staged a protest calling on Germany, the European Union, the United Nations and the international community to pressure the Iran-backed Houthi militia to lift the siege on Taiz, reopen roads, ensure freedom of movement and allow humanitarian supplies into the city.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Afrah al-Zouba discussed bilateral relations, regional developments, and efforts to de-escalate tensions and promote security and stability during a phone call with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi.
Dr. al-Zouba reaffirmed Yemen's condemnation of the attacks targeting the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its rejection of any actions that undermine Jordan's security and sovereignty. She also expressed appreciation for Jordan's longstanding support for Yemen and the care and services it provides to the Yemeni community.
Safadi briefed Dr. al-Zouba on the outcome of the ministerial meeting in support of Jerusalem and its holy sites hosted by Jordan, including the measures outlined in the final statement to address Israeli violations in Jerusalem and its holy places.
Safadi also congratulated Dr. al-Zouba on her appointment as Foreign Minister and wished her success in her new role.
