Presidential Leadership Council member Tariq Saleh inaugurated the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Hospital in Al-Khawkhah, Al-Hudaydah Governorate, on Saturday, coinciding with the celebrations of the 36th anniversary of Yemeni National Unity Day on May 22.
Saleh, accompanied by Al-Hudaydah Governor Dr. Al-Hassan Taher and Member of Parliament Sheikh Nasser Bajil, toured several departments of the hospital, which was established with support from the United Arab Emirates.
It is one of the biggest medical facilities, covering an area of 24,300 square meters and including 82 inpatient beds.
The Presidential Leadership Council member inspected the hospital's modern medical equipment, including operating rooms, intensive care units, inpatient wards, radiology and MRI departments, and outpatient clinics.
He praised the level of equipment.
Tariq Saleh congratulated the people of Hodeidah on the opening of the hospital, expressing his deep gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for their support.
