WB delegation praises progress in Fish Landing Center Project in Aden

A World Bank (WB) delegation headed by the Vice President of the Bank for the Middle East and North Africa Dr. Osman Dion got first-hand information about the progress and achievements in the Fish Landing Center Rehabilitation Project at Al- Dukyard in al-Ma'alla District of the temporary capital Aden.

The delegation paid a felid visit to the project location today, Wednesday.

The project comes as part of the Sustainable Fisheries Development Program in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, funded by the WB through the UNDP with a total cost estimated at about 45 million dollars.

The WB delegation praised the level of progress made in implementing the project, emphasizing the Bank's continued support for this crucial sector, which contributes to enhancing food security and improving livelihoods.
