Governors of Lahj, Abyan, al-Dhalea governorates swear-in before President al-Alimi
The newly appointed governors of the governorates of Lahj Murad al-Halimi, of Abyan Dr. Mukhtar al-Rabbash and of al-Dhale Maj. General Ahmed al-Qubba took the constitutional oath today, Saturday, before His Excellency President Dr. Rashad a-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC).

MASAM removes 1044 Houthis- laid landmines in a week

King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Center's Demining Project in Yemen, known as " MASAM" managed to remove 1044 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and explosives devices in the first week of this month November 2025, all planted by the terrorist Houthi militiamen in several governorates.
The Center reported that MASAM's deminers removed 5 anti-personnel and 79 anti-tanks landmines, 957 UXO and 3 explosives devices.
It is important to note that since it has started its mission in 2018 MASAM removed 522, 778 of landmines, UXO and explosives devices.
