The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Sultan al-Arada conferred today, Sunday, with the French Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Katherine Corm Kammoun over bilateral relations and cooperation.
Al-Arada stated that the political leadership is very keen to support all regional and international efforts and good offices aimed to establish fair and comprehensive peace that is based on the three references approved nationally, regionally and internationally, including the GCC's Initiative and its executive mechanism, outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Security Council's resolutions, namely 2216.
He also underscored the need for the humanitarian and development interventions amid current tough circumstances the country has been experiencing.
" Regional and international humanitarian and development interventions are urgently needed to meet the Yemeni peoples' needs and improve living conditions", he said.
The PLC's Member highly praised the Republic of France's stances in support of the Yemeni people and the efforts of the PLC and the government aimed to restore the State's institutions, establish security, stability and ease the Yemenis' suffering that has been further worsen by the Iranian-regime backed terrorist Houthi militias.
The French Ambassador confirms Paris's continuous support for Yemen and its contribution to the humanitarian and developments actions.
