His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, departed today, Friday, from the interim capital, Aden, heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to hold consultations with regional and international actors regarding the latest developments in the local situation, particularly the recent events in the eastern governorates.

The Director of the Executive Unit for the Management of IDP Camps in Marib Governorate Saif Muthana held discussions with the representative of Hasana International Organization Kamal Sadiq and the head of Together for Children Foundation Khaled Abdullah Qassim the humanitarian situation in Marib and the growing humanitarian needs gap, and the humanitarian response plan and what both organizations can offer to help human suffering mitigation.

Muthana referred to the negative repercussions of declining international funding, the deterioration of the national economy and local currency, and climatic changes on the humanitarian situation and living life of IDPs and the host community in the province, which has received and host more than 62% of the IDPs in Yemen.
