Industry Vice Minister discusses with his Russian counterpart joint cooperation

Vice Minister of Industry and Trade Salem al-Wali conferred today, Wednesday, with Russian counterpart Grozdev Alexi over bilateral cooperation and coordination in the areas of economy and trade.

The two sides underscored the importance of further promoting Yemeni-Russian relations and cooperation in the domains of trade, industry and investment.

They also highlighted the need to establish strategic partnerships and businesses in the fields of food and medicines production.

The discussions touched upon reviving the Yemeni-Russian Joint Committee and creating the council of the Yemeni-Russian businessmen to activate the role of the private- sector through the partnership between the two countries.

The Vice Minister of Industry and Trade invited the Russian side to visit the interim capital Aden within the framework of strengthening the bilateral relations and exchange official visits.
