Typhoon "Bebenka" hits the Chinese city of Shanghai

The Shanghai Central Meteorological Observatory of China announced on Monday that Typhoon "Bebenka" made landfall and hit the city of Shanghai.
The typhoon, which had a maximum wind speed of 42 meters per second near its center, swept through the Lingang district of Pudong district, the center said.
Bebenka, the thirteenth typhoon of the year, is believed to be the strongest to hit Shanghai in the past 75 years.
