Al-Bahsani greatly values US significant contribution toward fighting terrorism

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Maj. General Faraj al-Bahsani highly appreciated the United States' substantial support to the international efforts to fight terrorism all over the world, particularly in Yemen.

He described the ongoing Yemeni-American cooperation as vitally important to protect national security and regional stability, effectively contributes to sustain the Yemeni government's efforts to deal with the security challenges and to maintain security and stability all over Yemen.

He voiced his statement during his conversations today, Thursday, with the US Special Envoy to Yemen Timothy Lenderking at the Yemeni embassy in Washington.

Al-Bahsani has been visiting the US for medical checks.

He paid an inspection visit to the embassy of the Republic of Yemen and briefed the staff of the Yemeni diplomatic mission headed by Ambassador Mohammed al-Hadrami on the latest developments in the Yemeni national arena.
