President al-Alim applauds Judicial authority's role in bolstering state's presence

His Excellency (HE) President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) received today, Monday, Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) Judge Mohsen Talib, Chief of Supreme Court Judge Ali al-Awash, Minister of Justice Badr al-Aridhah, General Attorney Judge Qaher Mostafa and a number of heads of courts and prosecutions in the government-held governorates.

The meeting comes within the course of the Ramadan consultations with leaderships of the state's high rank authorities.

President al-Alimi underscored the vitally important role of the SJC and judicial authority in maintaining the coherence of the state's institutions, protecting social peace and enhancing the national unity against different challenges.

HE highly valued the active contribution of the judicial authority to the collective efforts to establish the good example of the good governance in the government-held governorates.

HE stressed that it is very important to double down efforts to establish the foundations of the state, boost the rule of law and deliver justice.

The President the full commitment of the PLC and the government to get the judicial author operate independently, assist it to do its jobs easily and to enforce its rulings per the constitutions and law.

The Chairman of the PLC commended the remarkable progress realized by the judicial authority over the past couple of years since the creation of the PLC. The notable achievements resulted settling down some 68 thousand lawsuits and releasing more than 700 prisoners during this year.
