Presidential Leadership Council reviews national, regional developments
The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held a meeting Today, Thursday, presided over by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council, with the presence of its members Aidarous al-Zubaidi, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Mujalli and via video conference Tariq Saleh and Abdul Rahman al-Mahrami, while Council members Sultan al-Aradah and Faraj al-Bahsani were absent with excuse.

Aden: PM receives UN Under-Secretary-General for Safety and Security Gilles Michaud

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak received the UN Under-Secretary-General for Safety and Security Gilles Michaud and his accompanying delegation in Aden today.

The talks in the presence of the UN Resident Coordinator Julien Harneis went over promoting cooperation and what facilitations the Yemeni government may offer for the United Nations agencies and other aid organizations to operate.

They also discussed the coordination mechanisms so as to prevent the US labeling of Houthis as terrorists from having any impact humanitarian and relief work. Another subject of discussion was the Houthi terrorist attacks against international shipping, and the effects of this on the humanitarian aid efforts in Yemen.

Bin Mubarak asserted that his government , at the behest of the Presidential Leadership Council, is working to boost the security situation in the temporary capital Aden, and the rest of the liberated goىvernorates, and has achieved remarkable successes.
