Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to China Dr. Mohammed al-Maitami attended today, Wednesday the opening session of the" Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation" which is being held in the Chinese capital Beijing coinciding with the tenth anniversary of launching the Belt and Road Initiative.
Representatives of more than 130 countries and organizations including heads of states are engaged in the deliberations of the forum.
It is important to note that Yemen signed on a Memo of Understanding to join the Belt and Road Initiative.
